Christmas...finally!
This is probably the latest Christmas post on any blog! It's been a busy few weeks! We celebrated Christmas several times, starting on Christmas Eve morning here at home with just us and Max (we pretended it was Christmas morning). We ate cinnamon rolls enjoyed watching Max open his presents (i.e., eat wrapping paper). Then we went Matt's parents'. It's always fun to get together with them and even more now that Max is getting old enough to play with his cousins. We continued our tradition of eating out - Saltgrass Steakhouse this year - and then went to the Christmas Eve (afternoon?) service. After that we had to load up the car including dog, baby, dog stuff, baby stuff, luggage, more baby stuff...and we headed to my parents. I'm getting tired thinking about all of this again! Christmas morning was so fun with Max, although you would think by the third round of opening presents, he would start to get the hang of it but he was still eating the paper and not really into tearing it. My sister was in town so we stayed for a few days and enjoyed some relaxing family time, which in my family consists of cards and board games, a jigsaw puzzle that must be completed before everyone leaves, group efforts at crossword puzzles, and Matt on the couch with his laptop...haha! All in all we had a wonderful Christmas, and in the two weeks I was off for the holidays, Max started crawling even more and took his first steps. What a Christmas present!

I love that he's so excited about the wrapping paper...
That is awesome! We both mentioned crosswords, jigsaw, cards/games! Plus I mentioned coffee and food- my loves, and you mentioned Matt- your love! We're hilarious!
